One of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s newest cast members, Karen King, is showing that she is still about the thug life.
Years ago King, her sons Sas and Scrapp Deleon, and several of their friends were arrested for the kidnapping and brutal beating of her then boyfriend Lyndon Baines Smith. Smith is also the father of her son Sas.
The story goes that she told them to kill him and dump his body across state lines. After the sons were arrested, King went on the run and was later caught.
However,the charges against them were dropped due to lack of evidence.
You would think escaping kidnapping charges would keep her out of trouble, but earlier this week King was arrested again.
According to Funky Dineva, Karen King was arrested on financial identity theft charges. The documents say she spent $5,000 of someone else’s money in Saks 5th Avenue.
Well, all wish we could shop at Saks.
If King does jail time for this crime, she’s not the only person in her family that will be locked up. Her son Scrapp is currently doing five years in prison.
During the filming of LHHATL he told his family that he would doing five years behind bars, but be on probation 15 years after that for possession of marijuana.
There is a lesson here. If you do the crime, sometimes you have to do the time.
