GMG Entertainment’s CEO, Twista and his Manager, Rawle Stewart announce “Twista’s Official SXSW Showcase #MWSXSW” (www.mwsxsw.com) on Saturday, March 22nd, 2015 at Old School Bar & Grill, 401 E 6th St., Austin TX.
This is a stage by the Midwest for the Midwest. This showcase provides a platform for artist to present their craft to the international attendees of SXSW. With over twenty years in the business, Twista has brought together some of the best up and comers and also #Legends from the middle of the map.

Confirmed artist include: Da Brat, Do or Die, Shawnna, Cap 1, King Louie, D Low, Murphy Lee, Crucial Conflict, The Boy Illinois, Wave Chappelle (CMG), Montana of 300, Bandman Kevo, GBE – Glo Gang (Tadoe, Capp & Trey Savage) as well as some of the youngest artists showcasing their talent, Dwolo, Tim Ned, Newara, Candace Price, and many more to come.
This week marks the launch of what Twista is looking to be a solid effort in supporting his fellow Midwest artist who participate on his stage.
Each artist participating will be featured on his website www.twista.com as well as mwsxsw.com and also will be included as an official SXSW performer.
With Social Media marketing, press/blog support, a song reviewed by Twista and digital marketing support, it is his intention for the industry to see what the Midwest truly has to offer.
