We can’t figure out why Wendy Williams thought it would be cool to make fun of a recently murdered teenage TikTok star but Black Twitter didn’t hesitate to let her know she had done too much.
19-year-old Matima Miller, known widely on the social media platform as Swavy and Babyface.S, was shot and killed Monday morning in Wilmington, Delaware.
The murder is still under investigation and no suspects have been arrested as of yet according to the Wilmington Police Department.
In a viral video, Williams first asks her audience to clap if they ever heard of Swavy who has garnered over 2.3 million followers on TikTok before blatantly making fun of his appearance at a time when his loved ones are still mourning their loss.
Needless to say, the backlash was immediate as Twitter users were outraged by the gross lack of respect and consideration for his family and friends.
