Today, November 18th, Young M.A. stopped by The Wendy Williams Show to perform her hit single ‘Ooouuu’ debuting her first appearance on daytime TV.
After the performance, the female rapper spoke to Wendy about breaking the barriers in a community which is so heavily male focused and how others might perceive her.
Wendy: “It’s not unusual for people to assume when they first heard the song that it’s a guy. How do you respond to that?” Young M.A. spoke positivly saying that “…it’s just part of the game. You have a lot of people that critic you but I get so much love that I don’t pay attention. I’m just grateful to be here in general.”
The two went on to speak about turning down a role in the TV show Empire and rumors of dating Tori Brixx.
When Wendy asked about the dating rumors circulating the rapper, Young M.A. responded that they (Tori Brixx) are “definitely getting to know each other…”
